Rated 5 out of 5 by MasterSparky from Strong cord! Preforms as you would expect! This cord performs as you would expect. Above that, it includes top-grade cord ends. The only issue I have found is that the cord ends are very tight at first and somewhat difficult to connect. I will not say this is a big issue because I would much rather work to get a good connection than easily get a bad connection. Especially at the amperage, this cord is capable of. A good connection is a key to longevity. Thank you for reading!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Spleone from Extremely heavy duty power cord This by far is the best well-built heaviest generator cord I’ve ever seen. It’s 100 foot it weighs 80 pounds. This is great when you can park your generator 100 feet away from your job and feel confident that it’s going to provide the power with very little loss. Now I can leave the generator on the truck and run the distribution box to the site.

The heavy duty twist lock Hubbell plugs are made of durable plastic and metal for long last. Be prepared for the weight at about 45 pounds but for 100 feet it's not bad. Very good for camp sites where the power is farther away from the parking spot.

I was going to buy some 6-3 with ground romex and the end but this was less expensive and designed for outdoors and coils back so I can reuse it much easier.I couldn't make one for this cheap. Very nicely built. Works great heavy duty connectors and waterproof.

At the price and quality of this power cord I’m telling you don’t waste your time and money trying to build. Once again Southwire has created a product that has exceeded expectations.
