Innovative tool! This is an innovative hand tool. It cleanly strips 12/2 and 10/2 Romex wire cleanly. It also strips #12 and #10 quickly and cleanly. The stripper strips the insulation efficiently with negligible to no abrasion to the wire. I definitely prefer this tool to the cheap splitters that are out there. Just like the other Southwire tools I've used, this stripper feels really good in the hand. The handles ensure a non-slip and comfortable grip. The needle-nose tip provides a firm and stable grip on wire and other small components. The wire cutter cuts wire up to about #6 gauge efficiently. This will be a valuable tool in my tool belt for my next residential projects.

The tool for Romex. This is the tool you need for Romex. This tool can handle the 2 most common sizes you use in a house build or remodel. Lets you strip the Romex whole not individually like i was doing before. You can also strip 10 or 12 gauge by themselves as well. The cutters are excellent and being stainless steel you don't have to worry about rust. The tool fits comfortably into your hand and gives you effortless use. When you are ready to finish and put the covers on the outlet box you can cut your screws if you want. great tool over all.

Excellent tool to own it What can I tell you about the tool, it's a must have. First of all, it is very versatile. You can use it as a stripper on different sizes of wires. As a professional you can use it on any job task. I highly recommend it to any DIY user.

Surprisingly amazing So i was eager to test this new stripper out especially since i use alot of romex wire. I was skeptical by the design but once i got it and tried it out i was shocked how well it actually worked. These things will cut right through the outer sheth without even nicking the inner jacket of the wire. They will cut right through 10/2 like butter. These are a must if you use romex wire even on a weekly bases. I will never use a razor blade again now that i have these.

Great Look and Comfotable Feel Stainless finish and comfortable hand grips make this tool a pleasure to use. The # 12 and # 10 Romex stripper are a plus since I do more commercial work and deal with more # 10 gauge wire than #14 Gauge wire it is very useful tool. Spring Actuated design is great when stripping multiple wires quickly. Cutting 6/32 and 8/32 screws for devices and boxes are very convenient cuts down on switching tools when are finishing up your intallations.

Handy as can be After years of using a utility knife to strip my Romex then putting it up and getting my stripper out I thought I really had something when I bought one of the $4 deals that rips the Romex jacket but I still had to put it up and get my stripper out...so needless to say whenever I first used these I was amazed at how well they worked but most of all now I'm saving time with them cause it's 2 tools in one

Comfortable, affordable and dependable! What a great addition to my tool bag. This tool saves me several steps with previous tools. I used to keep a utility knife in my bag along with strippers and needle nose. This tool is one tool with all three features. Cuts outer sheath, Strips inner wires and bends wire to termination position. It is also a comfortable high quality tool! Thanks Southwire!

Nice and sharp I have had these strippers now for a while and have gotten some use with them. I like that they are ergonomic and feel good in my hands. They cut the outer sheath of romex very well. And strip wire pretty good. The design is similar to others. I like the locking mechanism on these. It seems to be well built and I hope to get lots of use from them.
