Sharp and fast hole saw I have been using this for a while now and absolutely love it. The carbide teeth are sharp and strong. It has 6 carbide teeth and a great pilot bit together these work well. I have drilled out many holes in new panels for home runs. If you have to add a pipe in to a existing panel they have a edge on them so it will only go in about a half inch to keep you from hitting any wire in the panel.

Fast and Efficient It is so nice to have a quality whole saw that works for almost every situation an electrician with run into and this saw does that very well. This carbide whole saw works so much faster and takes much less effort to drill holes. If you let the drill do the work these bits will last a very long time. I like the flange that stops the saw and drill from entering the box your cutting into.

Comes in handy! I got this because my husband needed something to make a hole in stainless steel. This helped my husband get the job done. This tool can cut stainless steel, mild steel, iron, copper, and brass up to 3/16" thick. This tool will be used for many projects.

Cuts smoothly Cuts smoothly, I used it to make a few knockouts into a panel for 3/4” EMT. Worked as it should. Only thing I’d change would be the packaging where it says the actual size in large numbers and the trade size in much smaller numbers, easily overlooked:

Very sharp and convenient This bit is a life saver if you have to drill alot of the same size holes for electrical work. Way more convenient and cheaper than constantly using a unibit. I am very pleased with this bit and how well it cuts with minimal effort

Good Tool, Lacking Supplies This bit cuts fast and clean, and makes it easy to knock out plenty of cuts in a short period of time. The only complaint is the lack of replacement pilot bits from Southwire directly. You'll have to find your own source that fits.

Better than the competition! I've used a number of different brands of the carbide tipped hole saws. The Southwire brand beats em all! Quick, to the point, and on to the next one. Maybe I'm wrong, bit I feel like it's a bit lighter as well.
