Great Heavy Duty Pliers These long nose pliers are indeed heavy duty, they feel strong in my hands. They are everything I require in a hand tool, the cutters are very sharp and cut wire early. Being able to strip 12 AWG solid wire is a great feature and it does it very well. These heavy duty pliers also have serrated jaws which give them incredible gripping power. The tip of the pliers also make a nice loop in the wire for wiring switches and recepticals. The jaws are strong and tight and I can safely say that they are the best long nose pliers I have ever owned.

Great Quality Pliers These pliers are very strong, comfortable and cut wire easily. I use these everyday on various electrical tasks. I grab wires from small holes. I remove knockouts out with them. I make loops for outlets and switches for side wiring. They feel like they will last a lifetime and they are the perfect size. The pliers made out of quality, durable metal. The joint has no wobble and is very smooth. My pair required no break in. The nose lines up perfectly. There is a built in stripper for 12 AWG. The stripper is comes in very handy. It is sharp and hasn’t dulled. I only wish there was a stripper for 14 AWG too. Overall the build quality is great. This tool will outlast me unless it takes a flying leap off my ladder. I would definitely recommend buying these.

Excellent versatility. When I got these I thought they were just needle nose pliers. Since having them I found the wire stripping and cutting function to be of great use. Very durable. They only say they are good for stripping 12awg solid wire but find that they strip stranded pretty well also.

Standard needle nose - with EXCELLENT results I recieved these about a month ago and I have put them through about 15 or so hours of usage. I depend on tools to do the job I put them to, and these Southwire pliers do just that. They provide excellent leverage for the side cutter portion/wire stripper and do just what they are made to do. If you are looking for a more all in one tool, southwire also makes a combination pair of these with a lot more tools on it, and spring leverage.

Well made, very precise and very comfortable. These 'needle' nosed pliers are very well made with extremely close tolerances. The nose closes so completely that light cannot shine through the “gap”. The dipped handles are quite comfortable and I love the “12-gage wire stripper hole in the cutter” it has come in very handy. The gripping surface on the jaws are crossed/hatched to grip from every angle without gouging soft wires. All-in-all a very welcomed addition to my tool belt.

Pliers feel great! I have been using these pliers for about a week now. So far, I like them. They feel very comfortable in my hand. The weight seems properly balanced. The tip is able to grab in tight places well. The jaws open and close a little tight right now, but I'm sure they will loosen up. They cut good. And the #12 wire stripper works well, too. These pliers are well built.

Solid Have used these pliers for about a month now and find them to be a well-made and useful hand tool. The jaws grip tight and the side cutters cut cleanly. I now often grap these instead of my linemans for working with #12 wire. The exposed metal is coated with a clear finish which ia wearing in spots, but this does not affect functionality.

Versatile! Easy to use once broken-in. The 12-gauge wire stripper lets your strip a wire without reaching for another tool. I would prefer the stripper be closer to the point of the pliers for easier wire stripping inside junction boxes especially when retrofitting with existing wiring. Otherwise, the Long Nose pliers work great..
