Nice 9" Hi-Leverage Side Cutting Pliers It was time for new pliers and I have been pleased with my other Southwire Tools that I have been acquiring and so, choosing these Southwire 9" Hi-Leverage Pliers was an easy decision. I had some lights to install on Fence Posts and these pliers made the job easy to do. Cutting wire to length and shortening a few screws was an easy task with these pliers especially with the comfortable grip! The pliers are designed with leverage in mind making screw or nail cutting an easy task. I've been using these pliers multiple times a week and I'm really happy to have them as part of my tools! I'd recommend these pliers to everyone.

Great tool Great heavy duty pliers. Feels great in your hand however they are a little heavy but are very strong, they will last a long time. Because the pliers are built tough it males it easy to cut copper wire and even steel wire with the hi-leverage side cuts. The pliers are also great for twisting wire together and they are great for pulling wire and you can even deburr the inside of conduit with the end of the pliers. This is a very good product.

Excellent performance and feel These are a great set of pliers that any tradesman should have in their tool bag. The larger handles give a great grip and i love that they have a higher leverage force behind them. I can really cut harder steel items and not worry about fatigue in my hands. They grip excellent on small to larger items. The feel in my hand makes me feel like i have full control over the tool and whatever i am trying to grip. I am very pleased with these and actually know several trademan that have the same pair and everyone loves them. Perfevt fit in my tool bag.

heavy duty These are extremely well made pliers. They are a bit on the heavier side but are solid and will last a long time. They held up to my standards and were very useful with a few projects that I was completed. Solid, sturdy and well constructed

Great Product I have to give it to Southwire on these, they really knocked these pliers out of the park. I have tried to break these pliers and they are just as good as my Kliens. I have used them as a hammer, linesmans, conduit reamer, anything I could think of, and they have survived. Try them out for yourself, the grips are comfortable to hold on to and use, they haven't came off yet. When I got them the joint was already free, no break in period. Give these a try I think you will be impressed, I know I am.

Strong, Capable Pliers I used and abused these pliers around the shop for the last month, and they've held up to every challenge without a single issue. Cutting wire and cable is a breeze, and it even cut off screws and nails without getting damaged. We've been running a lot of conduit and tubing lately, and the reamer design of the head was a lifesaver. Quickly cleaned up rough edges without feeling awkward. This is definitely going to be a tool that is always on me from this point.

High quality I recieved these hi levarage side cutters a few days ago and i must say i prefer them over kleins lineman. First off the reamer edges eliminates the need to carry another tool. The finish on them is great and the handles arent too thick to wrap around them. I used them to cut 10-32 screws and it cut them without hesitation.

Quality made linesman’s They’re a decent made tool, with clear quality put into them. I like the built in reamer on the outsides of the top of the linesman’s but I do wish that it had a crimper installed. If that was included they would be perfect! Nevertheless it’s a quality tool that I will see in my tool pouch for years to come.
