Rated 3 out of 5 by from Non-insulated crimper The good attributes of the Non-insulated crimper are: The bright yellow handles make the crimper easy to find in my tool bag, tool box, or bucket whichever I happen to be using. The crimper was very easy to operate right from the 1st use. I have had other crimpers that required a lot of use before they would operate easily. The leverage point is well placed so that a good crimp can be made with the tool, whether I am using #22 or #10 gauge wire. With all of that said, I would like to see this crimper in a model for crimping insulated connectors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from plenty of leverage I have been using these for the past week crimping rings on number ten motor leads, the action is very smooth and the handles length makes the crimp easy which didn't fatigue my hand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOADS OF LEVERAGE While reviewing the 9" Crimping and Cutting Tool [TCC9D ] I found the this tool exceed my exception. The handles are long and robust, with loads of leverage from the pivot point, and the cushioned grips do a great job of protecting the hands while crimping and cutting. I was able to cut 8 & 10 AGW stranded wire with ease, and crimp solder-less connectors of .062 steel [ .125 dia. with minimal effort. Great well thought out tool design. Vic North Central WV

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top-notch piece of equipment! Received tool in the mail and was able to use it for its primary job (in my case).....making wiring connections on submersible pumps. The tool worked perfectly, made good crimps, and seemed plenty strong for its intended use. I would buy another one without hesitation!

Regarding the TCC9D: http://www.southwiretools.com/tools/tools/TCC9D The heading says "...For Non-Insulated Connectors...". However, in the Features section for this product it says "...Crimps insulated and non-insulated terminals and connectors..."

Asked by: Huhhhh
Apologies for this mix-up, we will fix this but this tool is for Insulated & Non-Insulated Connectors.
