Get used to it I got this knife and had to use for over a month to get used to it unique design. At first what seemed awkward turned into very useful. This needs to be viewed as s tool because it has specific purposes. Obviously it is very good at opening taped cardboard boxes, but also good at rare situations where I needed a cut at a awkward angle. Overall construction is pretty good. It folds open and closed very smoothly with a nice firmness.blade is holding sharpness fairly well. All screws are staying put. So overall I like this knife a great deal. Only thing that leaves me wanting more is a better grip on handles as the ones it has can get slippery when wet.

Nice compact size knife. I have been using this pocket knife for so many things!! As a box cutter, cutting small tree limbs, for quick cutting of rope. It's just come in handy for a variety of things. The knife has a unique curved shape. One of the things I like about this pocket knife is it has a long clip on the back. So I can easily slide it onto my belt or onto my pocket. The knife itself is sharp, I haven't had to sharpen it yet. The knife is also somewhat weighted but not overly where it's heavy. I get a lot of use out of it. It's got a cool looking print on it too!

Average I put this knife to the test. Stripped wires, opened boxes, etc. The blade stayed sharp longer than most and was comfortable to grip. I sharpened it and it took a good edge. However, the finish on the knife wore off easily, and that was just keeping it in my pocket. Not a bad knife, but not the best either. A little disappointing considering how happy I've been with the rest of the Southwire products I use.

Hawkbill is top quality Im a edc knife kind of guy usually carrying kershaw or spyders. Once i recieved this knife those stayed home and this became my primary. Handle is very slick and the added rubber makes it really comfortable in your hand. The blade is sharpened to cut through anything. Used to dismantle tray type cable and i was able to complete twice as fast with less effort. Well worth the money!!

Great knife I do a lot of work with splicing wires and this Hawkbill knife has really helped. It's a good size, not too big or bulky. Splicing is a cinch due to the curved blade. It has a very comfort grip as well. It's a very sturdy knife. The only issue I had with it is that the clip isn't very strong. It bends pretty easily. Other than that it's a nice looking and good splicing knife

over all a good product The product fits well in the hand is easy to open and close. The comfort grip makes it easy to cut and gives you a fell of confidence. the blade is exceptional and seems to be holding up well. The only down side is the clip it needs to be a little stronger, It bent the first week of use. Overall a good product as usual.

Easy one hand operation!! I have had this knife for over 4 months now. It’s super versatile and can be used for many different applications. I have used it to strip wire on a fishing trip and while I was camping. This knife has replaced my daily knife I carry. It’s vertually indestructible. I really enjoy it and carry it every day.

Great Knife! I haven't used this knife much, but it's great for almost anything from opening cartons to stripping wire. It comes extremely sharp and ready to go out if the package. I would imagine it's difficult to sharpen, but I haven't had that issue yet. Worth the purchase.

I have this knife and saw that it is guaranteed for lifetime. I am wondering what the guarantee covers. Is it just breakage or does it cover blade chipping too?
